Yesica Hurd

Yesica Hurd is a Mexican-American children’s author and children’s librarian. In 2023, she was a We Need Diverse Books mentee for her middle-grade book. Yesica received the Richard H. Bell Scholarship from Boyd Mills in 2025. And in 2025, she was an Hermana in the Las Musas mentorship program. She is also a member of SCBWI. Yesica is an avid reader and runner who lives in the Bay Area with her husband and three children.
